How to show particular string using NSMenuItem text
I am using NSMenu to set the menu. There are two NSMenuItem in the NSMenu. I need to check the NSMenuItem for the string.
Below code shows the functionality.
- (void)viewDidLoad {
NSMenu *menu = [[NSMenu alloc] initWithTitle:@"Main Menu"];
[menu addItemWithTitle:@"Add Friend" action:@selector(addFriend) keyEquivalent:@""];
[menu addItemWithTitle:@"Quit" action:@selector(quit) keyEquivalent:@"q"];
[self.view.window.menu setDelegate:self];
}
- (IBAction)addFriend {
NSString *senderName = [[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] stringForKey:@"name"];
NSMenuItem *friendMenu = [[NSMenuItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"New Friend" action:@selector(newFriend) keyEquivalent:@""];
[friendMenu setRepresentedObject:senderName];
[menu addItem:friendMenu];
NSMenuItem *likedFriendsMenu = [[NSMenuItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Liked Friends" action:@selector(likeFriends) keyEquivalent:@""];
[likedFriendsMenu setRepresentedObject:senderName];
[menu addItem:likedFriendsMenu];
NSMenuItem *addMeMenu = [[NSMenuItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Add Me" action:@selector(addMe) keyEquivalent:@""];
[addMeMenu setRepresentedObject:senderName];
